I now also see couples online and charge £100 for a couples session.

I also offer a reduced price for people who cannot afford my rates.

I always have two slots available free of charge. These slots are often full but please don't be scared to ask if they are available.

Are you a supervisor?

Can you mentor me to set up in private practice?

For years now I have supported therapists to set up in private practice. It's what I do.

I have so many ways to help you!

You might want to join one of my live events. I run them in May and September every year.

I also have a starter pack that will get you up and running right away.

Maybe you need direct access to me well, my Mentoring Package is just for you.

Get in touch, and we can discuss ways I can mentor you to set up in private practice.

What are your qualifications?

I am a fully qualified Senior Accredited Counsellor and Supervisor with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (SNCPSAcc.) I qualified as a counsellor in 2005 and as a supervisor in 2009.

My counselling training was with Persona Counselling in Scotland, and my supervision training was with PCT Britain.

I have previously been a Senior Accredited Counsellor with the BACP.

My Live Events are endorsed by the NCPS as online quality-checked CPD Training events.

I am also a Board Member for the Psychologists Protection Society (PPS)

What experience do you have setting up a private practice?

Since qualifying, I have set up three counselling services. Two of them are in my local community and to date, they still make a huge difference to the local people who use the services.

These counselling services also became placement opportunities for trainee counsellors and are still recognised by the universities as good placement opportunities for students in training.

I also set up my own private practice in 2008. My private practice has grown through two recessions and a pandemic, and I have never paid a penny for advertising. In my role as a supervisor, I regularly support trainees at the end of their training to set up their own counselling services.

I also have an online business where I train and support counsellors to set up in private practice. I lecture at universities and Onlinevents about setting up in private practice.

My Live Events are endorsed by the
NCPS as online quality quality-checked CPD Training events.
